Sabtu 17 Ogos 2013, Proton Holdings Bhd (Proton) telah melancarkan sebuah lagi model kereta terbaru versi hatchback yang dikenali sebagai Proton Suprima S.

Majlis pelancaran ini diadakan di Pusat Pameran dan Konvensyen MATRADE, dekat Jalan Duta oleh
Penasihat Kumpulan Proton, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

With Lotus Handling, PROTON gives drivers the confidence and comfort to deal with all road and weather conditions.


The Suprima S is framed by a glossy black honeycomb grille and brilliant chrome finish. The honeycomb grille together with blacked out lower air intake creates a strong but friendly face.

The rear LED Light Guide and jeweled look of the rear lamp cluster gives the Suprima S a distinctive and memorable rear view.



The roof spoiler extends the roofline and this enhances the Suprima S charismatic personality while improving airflow and reducing aerodynamic drag.





The 17-inch seven-spoke wheels feature titanium finish on the inside and brilliant diamond cut on the face.

PERFORMANCE: 

The turbocharged 1.6 litre CamPro engine delivers 138 hp and 205 Nm of torque spread over a wide power band. The turbocharger gives the Suprima S the reserve performance of a 2.0 litre engine with a 1.6 litre fuel economy.


Race car-inspired technology that lets you drive the way you want – with easy comfort or exhilarating control. The ProTronic system allows for swifter, smoother gear changes without removing your hands from the steering wheel.

SAFETY:

The Suprima S received the maximum safety rating of 5-Star from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), giving you the assurance of premium safety.

Electronic Stability Control is the first line of active safety system that enhances the driver’s ability to cope with difficult driving conditions whether it is caused by the weather, traffic or general road conditions.


With six airbags, the Suprima S reduces the risk of serious injuries to the driver and front passenger. It comes with dual front SRS airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags.


The Suprima S Cabin is constructed with hot-formed ultra high tensile steel parts which multiply the strength of critical joints and structures creating a strong and rigid passenger cell.
